Learned more from Rob in a two hour taster session than I had ever learned riding my 50 and 125 for two years in my teens. Rob then took me through the CBT, the Mod 1 and Mod 2 (both myself and my fellow student passing first time). Just amazing...I can still hardly believe it! Rob's training was absolutely top notch. His patience, support, knowledge and absolute passion for all things motorbikes is incredible and contagious. He'll take you through your paces, sometimes completely out of your comfort zone but you'll end up feeling like you're riding about with a friend you've known for years. He'll turn your weaknesses into your strengths and get you that licence. Just listen, have faith and do exactly what he says and then, before you know it, you'll be the next ex-student writing a review instead of reading one.

Rob successfully took me through my CBT and DAS 1 & 2, and I fully recommend him to anyone looking to obtain their full bike license. He explains and demonstrates the technical side brilliantly, and is a thoroughly great guy as well! Huge thanks Rob for all you help. I’m thrilled to be now looking for my first ‘proper bike’!

It took me a while to start writing this review.. Needed to get the A licence (DAS), looked on Google and found Rob! Started with the CBT and straight away a full week of an incredible riding training course. On the training course we were 2 students (me and Scott) and Rob and that was incredible as allowed Rob to draw a very detailed and tailored training for me and Scott. Not the easiest training for Rob due as both of us with some riding experience and a lot of bad habits to fix! 🤣 We did get not just to train but stop for food and coffe, have a laugh and some deep conversations and ride the bikes all day for a whole week. After all this, I’m confident to say that Rob is an incredible Instructor and he will take you to get your Motorbike licence with full marks as he did with me and Scott. As for me, i did get my licence, a whole new set of riding skills and some great Riding Companions! Cannot wait now to do my Advanced training with Rob! Thank you

I done my DAS course with RS Motorcycle Training. Rob who was my instructor was very helpful and patient. He had taken the time to explain the training activities and the exam tasks in great detail. His skill level as an instructor made me feel at ease during the course and I went into the exam feeling prepared and less worried. I would 100% recommend RS Motorcycle Training to anyone who is interested in doing their motorcycle test.

couldn’t recommend Rob enough as an instructor, I originally planned to go with another training company and went through the review to see how many training days I needed before a test however they could only book a test in from about 3 months from then. Rob being the absolute legend he is got me a test in 2 weeks and training for 2 days ready for summer. Rob assessed my riding skills on the first day and we polished up what I needed to be test ready, mainly being my mirror and shoulder checks. With Rob’s high standard of training I passed first try. If it’s any consolation of how professional he is as a instructor I will be returning to him in 2 years time to do my DAS. All together he is a class guy and rider and would recommend him in a heartbeat as I had a blast training with him. Many thanks again Rob it was an absolute pleasure riding with you and I will see you in 2 years time.

WHY LEARN TO RIDE?

While the practical benefits of riding a motorcycle, such as cost savings, are certainly compelling, there are also many personal reasons why people choose to learn to ride. Here are a few:

  1. Freedom and independence: Riding a motorcycle gives you a sense of freedom and independence that is hard to replicate in a car. There’s nothing quite like hitting the open road on two wheels and feeling the wind in your face.

  2. Adventure: Riding a motorcycle can be an adventure. Whether you’re exploring new roads or taking a long trip, there’s always a sense of excitement and adventure when you’re on a motorcycle.

  3. Community: There’s a strong sense of community among motorcycle riders. Whether it’s through organized rides or impromptu meetups, riders tend to connect with each other and share a common bond.

  4. Personal growth: Learning to ride a motorcycle requires a certain level of skill and focus, which can help you develop as a person. You’ll learn to be more aware of your surroundings, make quick decisions, and take calculated risks.

  5. Stress relief: Riding a motorcycle can be a great stress reliever. The physical act of riding, combined with the freedom and adventure it offers, can help clear your mind and reduce stress.

The decision to learn to ride a motorcycle is a personal one that depends on your individual interests and goals. However, the benefits of riding are many and varied and may be worth considering if you’re looking for a new challenge or adventure.

Fun

On a motorcycle, you have much more freedom, and once you learn how to ride safely, almost all riders report that it’s far more fun than driving.

Less traffic

Riding a motorcycle, gives you freedom, to filter, (safely) no delays, get to where you want to, at the wright time, once you learn how to ride safely, almost all riders report that it’s far more easier to your destination, and things you never see driving a car.

Social

On a motorcycle, you have much more freedom, to go any where, join friends, make new friends,  travel abroad ,its limitless, the only barrier is you and once you learn how to ride safely, it’s far more fun

Personality

There are so many ways to adapt and customize your motorcycle that just isn’t available with cars. So you can truly customize your bike to be whatever you want it to be (within reason, of course!).

Cost’s

Typically, it is cheaper to buy and run a motorcycle than a car. Motorcycles are usually more fuel-efficient, cost less in road tax, face lower toll charges, are cheaper to maintain, and cost less in insurance.
